Now that were finished with the styling of the garment, I want to go ahead and start setting up the lighting. For this shop on a slant board, were going to use studio strobes. The equipment is speedotron black line power pack and a couple of heads, were going to use two different modifiers for the heads, one of them I've already set in position here, We're modifying with a soft box, this is going to be our fill light. Soft box is essentially a framework that houses one and a second panel of diffusion. There's this large one that you see on the front and there's a smaller one that's internal and what they serve to do. Is disperse the light from the strobe head very evenly over what you can see is a fairly large area. This you can see is behind the camera and the camera's on a tripod. This tripod leg is between the softbox and the product. That's not a problem, typically. Because the softbox is so diffused, that light will wrap around the leg of the tripod.
