- [Instructor] In this movie I'll introduce you…to the image size command,…which is one of the most powerful features…inside Photoshop, because it allows you to modify…the physical size and print resolution…of an entire image.…To get to the command you go up to the image menu…and you choose image size…and that's going to bring up this dialogue box here.…Notice that it includes a preview…so that you can anticipate…the effects of your modifications.…You can scroll the preview just by dragging it like so…or if you want to hone in on a specific detail…then you can move your cursor outside the dialogue box…and, for example, I could click on this guys nose…in order to center the preview at that location.…
Towards the top of the dialogue box…we have this dimensions item,…which by default tells you…the pixel dimensions of the image.…Now if you like you can change the units…by clicking on this down pointing arrowhead…and choosing inches, millimeters, what have you,…but for day to day work…I recommend that you leave it set to pixels,…
