Join Julieanne Kost for an in-depth discussion in this video Installing Adobe Bridge, part of Photoshop CC 2013 Essential Training.
When you install in Photoshop CC, you may have noticed that one of the components that installs alongside of the application, doesn't get installed by default anymore. And that's the Adobe Bridge. So in this movie, I'm going to show you how to install Adobe Bridge CC. What you're going to do, is you're going to launch the Creative Cloud desktop application. And once you have the Creative Cloud desktop application open, that's either from your Menu bar on a Mac, from your Taskbar on the PC, or you could just simply launch the app in it's own window, like I have here. You're going to scroll down in the app section, and find Bridge CC.
From there, all you have to do is click on the Install button, and you go through your normal installation process. On a Mac, that may involve entering in your password for your user system, or whatever the case may be, but once you go through all of that, Bridge will then download and install on your computer. Once that installation process finishes, you'll see a little message that indicates that Bridge has been installed. You'll also see up to date out to the right-hand side of it, and then you just go and find that wherever your programs might installed.
On a Mac, for instance, that's in the application folder. And from there, you can just find Adobe bridge CC, double-click it, and it launches right up. So there you have it. How to install Adobe bridge CC, so you can quickly and easily access all of your digital assets.
