Inserting placeholder text

As you continue to design your web sites inside of Photoshop, you're going to find a need to use filler text every now and again. In Photoshop CS6 we actually have the option to insert "placeholder text" anytime we want using a menu item. Let's take a look how that works now. I'm going to create a brand-new document using Command+N or Ctrl+N on my keyboard, and I'll just hit Default Photoshop size underneath the Preset because it really doesn't matter how big this is, and I'll hit Ok. Once I do that, I am going to grab my Type tool and then with my Type tool selected, I'm going to click and drag out a box, something kind of like this.

Once I do that, I can set up my type parameters. So in this case, I am going to set my Font to Helvetica, I am going to set it to Regular, and I am going to change the Font Size to something around 12 points, and I'll change the color of it to black so it's easy to see.
