- [Teacher] In this chapter, we'll prepare our image for the major restoration by restoring the minor damage. Please open 02_01, and that's the image we're going to be using to be working on. And in this initial section we're going to straighten the image, crop it, and convert it to black and white. So let's start with filter, lens correction, and select the straighten tool and draw a line across the top edge of the photograph to straighten it, release, and before we say okay there is an auto scale option here that will automatically crop the photograph and scale it, bring it out to the edges. And let's just see what that does for us. What I'm looking for is that this won't crop too much of the image, but by the look of it it's zoomed in there and cropped very close to the back of this guy's jacket. I don't like that, so I'm going to leave that auto scale off and I'm going to manually crop the photo. So let's say okay. There's these bits or parts of the image we just don't need, I'm…
