Improving a portrait with Lens Correction

You know the Lens Correction filter was primarily built for photography of objects or of products or of architecture and buildings and whatnot, yet believe it or not, it can work incredibly well on people photographs as well. Let's take a look at how we can use this filter in order to create perhaps a little bit more of a flattering look. Now in this case, with this portrait, I really like it. I like the expression and whatnot. I like how we're really close to the subject. Yet there's a little bit of distortion, and I want to remove that again in order to create a touch more of a flattering look.

Let's copy that background layer, press Command+J or Ctrl+J, and then let's go ahead and name this layer c1 for correction one. The first thing we are going to do is navigate to our Filter pulldown menu then we're going to open up the Lens Correction dialog.
