- [Chris] Hi I'm Chris, and welcome to another Photo Tools Weekly quick tip. In this week's episode, it's all about light, color and cuteness. Here we're going to take a look at how we can improve this photograph of our cousin Kinsley, with her very cute cat there. We'll start off in the basic panel and then we'll finish this one off by using the adjustment brush. All right, well here in the basic panel, I want to bring up my exposure just a little bit, not too far, 'cause you can see how it gets really overexposed there. Just bring in a little bit of light. I'll increase the contrast, because that will also bring out the colors. Can you see how it gets more saturated there? It looks a little bit better. Now, the highlights are too bring, so I'll use the highlight slider to bring those back, recover some of the detail. Also, do that a little bit with my whites there as well. The shadows, those are too dark, right? So, let's bring up some of the shadows there. And then next, we'll go…
