- One of the most common problems that you'll encounter…in your digital photographs is color cast.…In other words, the colors in your photo…are not quite representational…of the colors in the original scene.…And they are as a whole, leaning in a certain direction.…So there's a color bias to the image.…Now the first step in correcting for color cast…is to gauge what that cast is.…In other words, what is the prevailing color…that shouldn't be there,…and the easiest way to find that color…is to locate a neutral image element in the photograph,…that is, an object that ought to be white or gray,…and then eyedrop it,…and let me show you what that looks like.…
Now for example, in the case of this image,…you might reckon that it has something…of an orange or brown color cast…but in fact, it's actually green.…Now let me show you how you find that out.…The first step is to make sure…your color panel is up on screen.…If it isn't, go to the Window menu…and choose the Color command.…And then, you wanna go ahead and select the Eyedropper Tool.…
