…As the web continues to evolve and as devices become more diverse with their…screen size and resolution, the need for…scalable vector graphics on the internet becomes increased.…And luckily for us there is a format for that, that we can create called an SVG.…Which actually stands for Scalable Vector Graphic.…However, natively inside of Photoshop, it's somewhat difficult to create SVGs.…In fact, there is no function for directly exporting an SVG from Photoshop.…But there are some workarounds and that's what…we're going to talk about in this movie.…
So, exactly why would you need a scalable vector graphic on the web?…Well because, if you remember from the previous movies in this…chapter, when we were talking about the generator feature I was…labeling things at 2x and I actually had to generate two…image assets, one for low res screens one for high res screens.…With a scalable vector graphic, you don't have to do that.…The graphic just scales up or down based…on the screen size and automatically adjusts itself.…
