How to use reflections in fall photography

- As opposed to watercolors where we're shooting reflected light, sunlight blasting trees into the water, what happens when we have a serene, beautiful fall color scene and the opportunity to shoot that plus the reflection? So now we're talking about a very different type of scene, more of a grand landscape, more of kind of putting yourself in this setting. And the first image I'd like to share is from Colorado. This is a beautiful pond, got a little wooden pier and a cabin up on the hill there. So this is a place where I want you to look at this image and go, "I would love to stay in that cabin, "and just spend time in this environment." A little of fog as well, so you can tell I photographed this in the morning, and this is before the light hit any of the trees. Now this is interesting and this breaks a rule a little bit. Generally when you're shooting fall color when direct sunlight hits that color, it tends to wash it out, more so midday sun. So for example, I'm driving around and…
