Guides and image size

So every once in a while you might run into a weird behavior when it comes to guides, when you are resizing a document. So let me walk you through that. Let's get up set up together in case you are following along. I am going turn on my Rulers, Command +R, Ctrl+R, and if you don't see any guides in this document, just turn your guides on, Command+Semicolon or Ctrl+Semicolon. I can see there are some guides in this document already. Now I have also got these guides locked. So normally they are not locked by default, but I have turned this on. I have locked my guides. Let's go to Image > Image Size now and we are going to make this half as big. So we'll just make it 600 pixels wide in our Width field here. I'm going click OK. And do you see what happened? It kind of looks funky. Here is before and here is after.
