Freeform and straight-sided lassos
- [Instructor] Alright, now I'll show you how to use another one that Photoshop's very basic, but very powerful selection tools. And that's the Lasso Tool, which allows you to draw a free form selections. And so, what I want to do is take this black brush stroke, and move it closer to the text. That brush stroke however, is part of the flat background, and so I'm going to need to select it before I move it. And so, I'll go ahead and move down to the next tool in the toolbox, which is the Lasso Tool. And by the way, if you're not seeing the Lasso Tool, click and hold on whatever tool you do see, and choose the Lasso Tool from the fly out menu. Now, I'll just go ahead and draw a free form selection around this brush stroke, taking care to avoid that blue type, which is also on the background.
