- [Instructor] The next step in our project is to take a look at if we can fix the exposure issue in this image. As I mentioned, this is a photograph of my brother-in-law Pete and his bride. And what I want to do with this image is fix the exposure issue in this area right here, and I want to point out that while I'm working on a specific type of photograph with an exposure issue, this technique or this workflow works on any exposure issues exactly the same. Well, how do we do this? What we do is we have the Smart Object layer above, we'll go ahead and double click that to reopen the Camera Raw controls. In the Camera Raw controls, we want to adjust the settings so that we have better exposure in the problem area. In our case, in this overexposed area here, so I'll bring down my highlights, bring down my exposure, decrease some of the contrast so it's not quite so defined in that area, maybe warm it up just a little bit, and make some pretty drastic adjustments.
