- [Instructor] In this chapter, we will be in for some hard work using the patch, clone, and healing brush to work through restoring most of the major damage. We will create a new wallpaper and wall pattern to create a new background. Let's make sure we've got Stained Color 301 open and straight to our layers panel and check the background layer is selected. First thing we're going to do is tackle the small spots and dust on the image with filter, noise, dust and scratches. I've got the radius of two and the threshold of 22 selected already. We need to concentrate on the areas with the finest detail in them. That's the floral pattern back here and the eyes and if we click preview and watch our main image, you can see the dust disappearing, but also the highlights in the eyes disappearing. Now because I'm happy with the dust being removed from all over the entire image, other than that in the eyes, I can say okay and then reclean the eyes in the history pallet. Make sure the history…
