…IN this project, we want to discuss and work on editing and balancing our…various mask control adjustment layers, to achieve just the right look that we want.…And here, we're starting with one of my favorite…images, and I call this Ice Dancing, and it…looks okay in color, but as you can see,…it really pops when you go to black and white.…First, a little bit of image analysis.…Obviously, we've got a darker, lower contrast background.…And a very bright poppy foreground.…And when I visualize converting this image, I really want to…emphasize the foreground, and I want to keep the background subtle.…
And I want to have relatively low contrast.…Keep that low contrast in the background.…But not make it to flat and I want the foreground to keep the high contrast but I…don't want it to be overly to so it…is always going to be a creative balancing act.…And of course we are going to be using mask, because…these two areas are so different as you can see…I have created some mask down here, and we are…going to be using this two mask in this project.…
