Fine tuning the color of a kayak
- [Voiceover] Another great way to fine-tune color is to work with Curves, which is what we're going to do here. Just a couple of weeks ago I was in Costa Rica, and I was on this morning paddle. It was beautiful, and I like the composition of this photograph and whatnot, but the kayak, at least to me, it needs to be brighter, it needs to be more yellow. So let's fix that issue with the photograph using Quick Select and Curves. So we'll press the W key to choose the Quick Select tool, or click on it here in the tools panel. Next I'll tap the left bracket key to make my brush a little bit smaller, and just want to click and drag over this area. Hold down the option key to subtract anything that we don't need. Once you've done that, next you wanna go to Select and Mask. In Select and Mask we'll just add a little bit of Smoothing, touch of Feather, a little bit of Contrast. Again, just looking to improve our edge detail that we have there. Then click OK to apply that. So the first step…
