Join Chris Orwig for an in-depth discussion in this video Final project review, part of Photoshop CS5: Athletic Retouching Projects.
Here at this juncture what I want to is organize all of my layers and review…the progress that we have made.…So I will press F to go to Full-Screen View mode.…Whenever you are in Full-Screen View mode, if you find that the background color…is distracting, you can go ahead and Ctrl+Right-click and you can change that.…And sometimes it's interesting to see your images with different colors.…You can also go to a custom color.…Say if you wanted to see it on white, it might be interesting to see in that…context, if you know that you are going to frame this image in that context.…Sometimes, for example with an image like this, it may make you realize,…you know what, it's a little bit too dark surrounded by all this light.…
It just feels too dense.…Well, if it does, press F7, brings up your layers, click on your Adjustment…Layer icon, go to Curves, and then just create a little bit of a brightening…effect, so that you can see it in this context here.…So we have a little bit of a brightening up of some of those tones down there.…
