Final preparation steps
- There are just a couple more steps I want to go through to finish off the texture. One thing I've noticed is that small amount of extrusion at the bottom. Now, I put there to give our model a bit more thickness. so it'll be more stable when it's printed. But I'm concerned about the way that some of the color's leaking over the edge. So let's fix that. In the layers panel, we can double-click the extrusion material here. In fact, we could also double-click the front inflation material to open that. Let's open the extrusion material, and that's the way it works. Those are all the red streaks that are going down over it. I'm going to pick a dark green color, fill the space with that color using alt+backspace or option+backspace, and save. And when I put that away, you've now got this nice, solid green base on the lizard. The texture that's on there looks okay, but it would be nice if that texture could feel more as if it were part of the surface material, and we can do that by…
