One of my favorite steps in working on a photograph in finishing it off is…applying those finishing touches to make the image perfect.…Well, here we're going to examine how we can use Curves, Hue/Saturation,…and blending modes and masking, in order to add just a couple of really…simple finishing touches.…Well, what I want to do is I want to add a little bit of brightness and a little…bit of this effect to this area of the image,…the central area of the photograph.…So in order to do that,…we are going to first click on our Adjustment Layer icon and then choose Curves.…We are simply going to click-and-drag up to increase the Brightness value.…
Now as we do that we can see we are affecting the entire image, so we need…to invert that mask.…To invert the mask, you press Command+ I or Ctrl+I. Next, press the B key to…select your Brush tool.…And here we want to lower the opacity.…So I will press 4 to go to 40%.…I want a pretty big brush, so I'll press the Right Bracket key here to just get…the right brush size, and then I want to paint with white.…
