Filtering type layers

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you a technique for selecting and formatting multiple type layers. In this composition, each piece of type exists on its own layer above its colored square. So if I wanted to change all of these pieces of type, to have to go to each layer individually and select the type and then change it would be quite a chore. But fortunately, there's a much easier way to do it. I can come to the top of my Layers panel, and I can turn on my filtering switch. And then I can press the T so that I see just my type layers. Now, I can start at the top, scroll down to the bottom, hold down the Shift key, and select. I now have all my type layers selected. I'll come to the Character panel, and here I can click on the color and then change the color. And in this case, I'm going to go to black, and we see that all of those type layers will change. The same would be true if I wanted to change the font, the font size, or any other attribute. So you can save a…
