Extruding a path outline into 3D space

In this movie, I'll show you how to copy a path outline from Illustrator, paste it into Photoshop, and then extrude it into a fully realized 3D object. I'll start things off, once again here inside Adobe Illustrator, by selecting the Black Arrow tool from the top of the list. Now I'll go ahead an click on the path outline that I just drew in the previous movie in order to select it. And I'll go up to the Edit menu and choose the Copy command. Or you can press a keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+C, or Cmd+C on the Mac. Now I'll go ahead and switch over to Photoshop, which I have running in the background. And then, I'll go up to the Edit menu, and choose the Paste command. At which point, Photoshop will ask you how you want to paste this path outline. Normally, when you're bringing Illustrator artwork into Photoshop, pasting as a smart object is a really great idea. But in our case, it's not what we want at all.
