Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video Exporting your artboards as PDF, PNG, and JPEG, part of Photoshop CC 2015 New Features.
- Alright, now that you've created all these artboards,…what do you do with them?…Well, strictly speaking, you don't print them.…In other words, if you go up to the File menu,…and choose the Print command,…then depending on your page size and so forth,…you're gonna see all three of your artboards…print on a single page,…and that's because Photoshop's artboards…don't translate to pages,…at least not where printing is concerned.…So I'm gonna go ahead and cancel out of this dialog box.…Instead, what you wanna do is export your artboards.…
So you'd start of course, by saving all…of your work as a layered PSD file,…and then you go up to the File menu,…choose Export,…and notice that we have lots…of new export options available to us,…including the option to Export Layer Comps to Files,…or to a PDF file.…You can also export your artboards to a PDF,…and to do that you choose this command right there,…and then click on the Browse button…in order to specify a location on your hard drive.…Notice that you've got the option…
