Exporting a DPX sequence from Photoshop
- [Instructor] The DPX image format is not one that you're going to need very often, but it is built into Photoshop. It is used typically by visual effects artists or people working on high end digital cinema workflows. So, if you're using Photoshop to touch up or enhance individual video frames, this can create a format that's an easy exchange format for other high end professional tools used in the motion picture industry. If necessary, you can choose to create a Photoshop image sequence. Now, the most important thing to realize about this is it's creating things in a series of images. Now, this can be useful if you are looking to create something that is meant to be used by another application. Image sequences can often be easily imported by other applications and reassembled into an animation. The thing to realize, though, is that when you do this, it's not going to support the audio.
