We working on this file portrait.tif go ahead and open that one up in Photoshop and go to full screen view mode.…Here we have this wonderful portrait.…I love this image and this particular kid Bailey, she is so cool.…Anyway what I want to do here is I want to even out the skin tone just a little bit.…Now the skin looks really nice, yet we can make it look even better.…Now, a couple of different ways that we can do this.…One way is we can make a selection of some of the dark areas of skin, like the dark areas underneath the eye.…we are make a selection with a Quick Mask tool, press Q on the keyboard then select your brush tool,…press B and what we are going to do is paint over a few areas that we want to lighten up a little bit.…
I'm going to change my Opacity here, drop that down a little bit, going through making selections of a couple of different areas.…Alright. Now, that I've those areas selected, I will press the Q key and that will give me selection there.…Now, although I don't see selection on the other areas those other areas are indeed selected.…
