Entering, selecting, and moving type

- This movie is about the basics of entering, selecting and moving text. Currently I am in my Move tool, I need to choose my Type tool, so I'll come and choose it here, on the Tool Panel, or alternatively, you can just press T to select it. Now when I click to make an insertion point on my canvas my type will be aligned relative to one of these three alignment options. So currently that is left aligned. I'll click to make an insertion point and type my text. Now, when you type, Photoshop will remember the last used attributes, so if things are appearing way bigger or way smaller than you expect, you might want to first come to the Character Panel and from the Panel menu choose Reset Character. To commit to my type so that I no longer see this flashing cursor, I can either come and click on the tick or I can press the Escape key. Now to move the type around on my canvas, if I'm still in my Type tool, and would like to remain in my Type tool, I can hold down the Command key and then…
