Drawing perfect eye masks

- In this movie, we'll balance the luminance of the foreground image so that it feels more at home with its new background, using a trio of adjustment layers. And along the way, I'll show you how to draw a perfect eye mask. That is, a mask to bring out this guy's eyes. All right, I want to start things off by darkening his torso, because right now it looks like a total studio shot. And so I'll go up to the Layer menu, choose New Adjustment Layer, and then choose Brightness Contrast, which is you loaded D Keys, and I hope you did, has a keyboard shortcut of Control + Shift + slash or Command + Shift + slash on the Mac. And I'll just call this layer tummy. And because I want to affect the active layer only, I'll turn on this checkbox, Use Previous Layer to Create Clipping Mask, and I'll click OK and as you can see, the adjustment layer is now inset. And so if I were to increase or decrease the brightness value, I would affect the active layer only, and I'd leave the other layers alone…
