- [Instructor] When you open the files for this course, you may find that you'll get some warnings. Let me show you what happens, and let me show you how to resolve it. I'm just going to open up this file, which is a file that's a more completed version of a project that we're working on within the course. You can see as soon as I open up the file, I'm getting a bunch of warnings and Photoshop is letting me know that it can't locate all of the linked assets. In this course, I'm making use of the library items. And because these are cloud based items, if I'm on a machine where I have not created the library I will get this warning. If you look at the names of the files, you can see that before the forward slash it's going to tell you the name of the library. So this one's called UI elements, this one's called Aloha pineapples. So in this particular file, I'm using library items from two libraries. I've provided the libraries for you. If you go ahead and type in the links that are showing on your screen, currently you'll be able to have access to the library files. I'm going to go out to the web and load these two library files. Here's the Aloha pineapples library file. I'll click the save button and it's going to prompt me to log in with my creative Cloud ID. So you're going to go ahead and do that now. Once you've going to see that you have access to save the library. You're going to want to click this and when you do so it's going to let you know that this library has been saved into your libraries. I'm going to do that for the other library that I'm using for this file as well. I'll go ahead and click save, and you can see that now the library is saved and I can use it within my document. I'll jump back into Photoshop and I'll just click, okay, I had left this Window open from before, but I'll click, okay. You also may get a warning that the fonts don't resolve, and again, this is because you have not installed the fonts yet. If you install the provided fonts, then you won't get this message. If you do get this message and you don't want to resolve it it's really not a big deal. And even opening the file without linking in the library items is not that big a deal. The document is still going to display fine, but if you want to make any edits to any of the elements, then you're going to run into warnings and possibly the inability to make any sorts of edits. You'll find if you go to the library panel and use the pull-down menu, you should see the libraries that we just loaded. They're going to display with two little people next to them indicating that there is shared library. Because you're using the shared library, all of the assets will be available to you. And if I click on that particular library item you'll find that the library items are going to show in the library panel. Now you have everything you need to get started in this course.
