Join Eric Wexler for an in-depth discussion in this video Disclaimer, part of Photoshop CS3 Extended: Research Methods and Workflows.
Before we go any further there are some disclaimers that I need to mention. One, Photoshop CS3 Extended is not allowed for human diagnosis and therapy. It is not an FDA approved software. That being said it is still great for communication, education and presentations. For researchers who are watching this, these are starting points Photoshop CS3 Extended is relatively a new piece of software, and we haven't had the time to truly test and validate many of these methods that we'll see.
The other thing is that you need to use your own controls and standards from your labs so you can prove yourself that these workflows demonstrated are appropriate for your labs and specific situations. That being said, Photoshop is incredibly powerful with a lot of tools and abilities. You should feel free to develop workflows on your own that the need to be validated and tested and shared.
