Defining character and paragraph styles

If you work with type align in Photoshop creating paragraph and character styles can be a real time saver. The principle that you want to keep in mind is that the paragraph styles are created to set the attributes for the entire paragraph or for multiple paragraphs. And then you create character styles in order to override the paragraph attributes. And finally if you want to override the character attributes you can simply manually do those at any point in time. So, we're going to create a paragraph style from scratch, think the easiest thing to do is to change our workspace from essentials to typography. In that way, we can see not only the character and paragraph panels, but also the paragraph styles and the character styles.

So, without having any type in this document, I'm going to create the first paragraph style. By clicking on the new paragraph icon at the bottom of the paragraph style. And then I can double-click where it says paragraph style, in order to ch...
