Join Julieanne Kost for an in-depth discussion in this video Deemphasizing wrinkles with the Healing Brush, part of Photoshop CC 2015 Essential Training.
- We're going to take a moment to learn…how to lesson the appearance of wrinkles.…With this couple I want to zoom in…using Cmd + 1 to zoom in to 100%…and then hold down my spacebar in order to…re-position them in the image area.…Now, in order to just de-emphasize the wrinkles,…as opposed to trying to completely remove the wrinkles,…which is not what I want to do in a case like this.…I wanna make sure that when I have a photograph and a…portrait of a couple that I keep that couple's age in mind.…
So, I'm just trying to remove the distracting elements…and in this case that just includes reducing…the appearance of wrinkles.…Instead of working on the background,…I'm going to create a new layer by clicking…the New Layer icon.…I'll name this Lesson: Wrinkles.…And then I'll be sure to select,…not the Spot Healing brush but the Regular Healing brush…because I want to have a little bit more control.…I also want to make sure that for samples…it's set to All Layers.…
If it's set to Current Layer it would only be able to…retouch whatever's on the current layer…
