Dealing with contact points

One of the things that gets a bit tricky with motion control is where the objects meet the ground. If you don't create a smooth transition area things will look like they're floating in space, or quickly sliding across the ground. So to deal with this we need to have some contact points. I've opened up Field6 from the folder. In this case I've done some processing. What you'll notice is that the object was removed from the background. So as each of the pieces were cut out we had to go back and fill things in. You'll learn more about these techniques later, but some of the tools here like the Clone Stamp tool are quite effective. This will allow you to Option or Alt + Click to set a source point and then you could take the texture from one area and brush it in in another. Other tools like the Spot Healing Brush here, allow you to click on something that's distracting so you can quickly remove it from the scene. And we…
