- When you first open Photoshop,…one of the first things that I do…is make sure that it's maximized…so that it takes up the entire screen.…When it's not maximized, I can see the other applications…that I have opened behind it,…and for me, that's just distracting.…So I'll click on the green circle here…in order to maximize it.…I also prefer to keep the application frame turned on.…Now, this is a Mac only feature, but under the Window menu,…you'll notice there's an option for Application Frame.…If I turn that off, I am still in Photoshop,…but I can see through it…to any of the other open applications.…
Again, I find that very distracting,…so under the Window menu ,…I keep the Application Frame enabled.…Another way that you can customize the interface…is by using the Photoshop Preferences,…so I'll choose Preferences and then Interface.…On Windows, you'd use the Edit menu…and then Preferences and Interface.…You'll notice that we have four…different color themes to choose from.…We can make our Interface darker or lighter…
