- [Tony] Hi there, and welcome to Design Tools Weekly … with me, Tony Harmer. … What we're going to be taking a look at … this week is the Curvature Pen tool, … which exists in both Photoshop and Illustrator … and makes path drawing a lot easier and more accessible. … Now, if you've been using Illustrator or Photoshop … for any amount of time, … you'll know that path drawing is a really valuable skill … to have and has a lot of uses, … but it's tricky to learn. … What I'm going to do here … in Photoshop is just select the regular Pen tool … to illustrate the problem. … Well, drawing straight lines is pretty easy … because you just click between points … and you draw a straight line. … So I'm just going to undo that drawing there. … It's curves that present most people with the problem … because you have to click and drag, … and you get control handles. … And then you have to work out … where the next point's going to be. … And then you have to click and drag, … and you either have to use a keyboard modifier …
