Cropping and straightening
- [Teacher] All right now I'm going to show you how to create this logo overlay and again, it could just as easily be a signature, a watermark, or what have you, based on a kind of worst case scenario original. And so, notice what I have here. This is a logo that I actually created years and years ago, well, you can see 1997 right there, and I went ahead and printed it out. And then I wadded up the paper, wrote a few notes, scanned the logo, and then threw away the original. And this is not an uncommon scenario. And yet, even with something that looks this bad, you can end up with great results. And so the first step is to straighten the logo and you can do that using the crop tool, which is located a few tools down, here inside the toolbox. And so I'll go ahead and select that tool and notice that I get a crop boundary, which I can use in order to crop that image in any way I like. I'm going to uncrop it for now however,…
