- In this movie we're going to crop,…straighten, and exactly center our shark.…And we're not going to make any…of these modifications using our Crop tool.…Because there's a much more precise way to work.…So the first step is to go up to the Image menu…and choose the Canvas Size command.…And then with the Relative check box off…and both Width and Height set to Pixels…I'm going to make another by now familiar modification.…I'm going to change that Width value to 3000 pixels.…I'll leave the Height value alone.…And I'll click OK.…If you get this inaccurate message,…just go ahead and click on the Proceed button.…
And that will go ahead and crop the image.…And now I'm going to zoom out a little bit like so.…And I want to create a vertical guideline…to the very center of the image…so I know where the shark should be.…And you can do that by going up to the View menu…and choosing the New Guide command.…And then make sure Orientation is set to Vertical.…And set the Position value to 50 percent.…And then click OK.…And you'll end up with a vertical guide line…
