Creating your own custom shape

- [Narrator] In this movie, I'll show you how to create your own custom shape in the form of this classic 5-pointed star. And the reason we're doing this is because the default stars don't look right. Now let me show you what I mean. I'll go ahead and select that Custom Shape Tool which is the last Shape Tool that I used and then, rather than drawing a pair of scissors I'll go ahead and click on 'em, and I will choose one of these stars from the list right here. So you can see we've got 5-point star and then we also have 5-point star frame. If I select 5-point star however, and then press the enter key, or the return key on the Mac to hide that panel and I go ahead and draw my star like so, you'll see that it's not the right kind of star. It has these steeply sloping angles right here which is not what I want. So, what we need to do, is instead, draw a perfect star using the Shape Tool that lets you draw stars inside Photoshop and then turn it into a Custom Shape so we never have to…
