Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating and using artboards, part of Photoshop CC 2015 New Features.
- Now probably the biggest game changer…in all of Photoshop CC 2015 is art boards…and yes, I do mean multiple art boards,…just as we've had for some time inside Illustrator.…But whereas Illustrator's art boards…are more analogous to pages or slides…or what have you,…inside of Photoshop they reside here…inside the layers panel.…So they're a lot like layer groups,…except that they have unique containment attributes…out here inside the image window…and they're specially designed, incidentally,…for those of you who focus most of your attention…on screen design.…
So there's a couple of different ways…to create art boards.…One is to go up to the File menu and choose New…in order to create a new document…and then notice we have a new document type right here…of art board…and if you select it, you'll then be invited to choose…from a bunch of different presets…which represent common device measurements.…And so, if I select iPhone6, for example,…then Photoshop will automatically set the width…to 750 pixels and the height to 1334.…
