Creating a panic button

- I'm gonna create a panic button. Not just a panic button, but a button that's slightly three dimensional so you can kinda reach out and just bang on it when you need to. But, it's not gonna be really done in 3D it's gonna be done in 2D using some nice little features in Photoshop. In the long run it actually becomes a little faster to get it done this way. So, now what I'm going to do is I'll create the basic paths that are gonna make up my little button. So, I got my Ellipse tool and I'm gotta set the path, so I'm gonna go in here and create a little path. But first, I'm gonna hit command r to bring up the rulers and pull out a guide and put it right here, right about the center of my page, right there. I can command r to get rid of the rulers and I have a guide for myself so I know I can snap things where they belong. Hold on my option key to draw from the center out and draw this nice big ellipse about like that. That's gonna be our little base. And this guy's gonna pop up…
