Creating a high-resolution dot drawing
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to increase the resolution of your dot drawing, and this is an essential step, whether you want your dot drawing to be black and white or in color. So I'm just going to demonstrate what happens in color here. And by the way, if you're following along with me, you will want to perform these initial steps. I'll start by pressing Control + J or Command + J on a Mac in order to jump a copy of this smart object. And then I'll get rid of the smart filters by clicking and dragging on the word Smart Filters and dropping them into the trash. That will restore the color version of the image. Now, I'll change the blend mode from Normal to Color so that we're infusion the dot drawing with the original colors. And so it looks like we'd expect. We are seeing somewhat colorful dots. But notice if I zoom in to 100%, that color entirely disappears, and that because the dots are ultimately black or white, neither of which can be colorized. And so you may…
