- [Voiceover] In this movie, we'll use High Pass which,…as you may recall from the end of chapter 30…of the advanced course, is a low color filter…to achieve an extremely high color effect.…And along the way, we'll take this composition,…in which I've combined a handful of photographs…in order to achieve the effect of…a subway train zooming into its station…and we'll apply High Pass, along with Gradient Map…in order to achieve this high color tri-tone.…Alright so, the first step is…to take all of these Layers and combine them…into a single Smart Object, and you can do that…by going to the Select menu and choosing All Layers,…or you have a keyboard shortcut of Control + Alt + A,…or Command + Option + A on the Mac,…and then to combine those Layers into a Smart Object,…either right click with the marquee tool…and choose Convert to Smart Object,…or if you loaded D Keys,…just press Control or Command + Comma.…
Now the thing about this is, Photoshop goes ahead…and names the Smart Object based…on the top Layer in the stack, and now even if you rename…
