Creating the files

- [Narrator] We're going to create the two documents here that we're going to be using in this chapter. So we'll start off with the main outer document area here, the main document. So command N or control N, or go to the file menu and choose new to start the process of creating a new document. Now, in the dialogue that I've got here I've got the option to give this a name at the top. So I'm actually going to call this main documents just here like so, and then making sure that the ruler units are set to pixels, we're going to go for a width of 680 and a height of 1920. For resolution, we're going to go with a retina size resolution, so 144 PPI here, and the color mode RGB, because this is a screen document, so you won't want any of your CMYK and so on just here. We'll keep that at 8 bit. And for the background contents, click on the color swatch there, which may be white, it usually is by default or whatever color…
