Creating a background

- Now we need to create a background scene so that our creature looks believable within the appropriate space. Here, I'll show you how to create a basic background in Photoshop using an imported stock photo. Okay, so we have our character. And we need to make this canvas more of a landscaped type layout because we can really pull in a nice background if we do that. Let's go in to "Image" and "Canvas size" which we select on the right arrow. We'll switch these over to pixels. And we already have a height of 3,000 so let's go 4,500 as far as the width. We'll hit the "Ok" button. That will add to the overall size of our canvas. Now let's go to "File", "Place Embedded". We'll backtrack a little to the "World_End" file. And as you can see, that popped right in our scene. So now let's just scale that up. We can kind of overemphasize it here. If we want to. Okay, perfect. Let's drag that down so it's right on top of the background. And as you can see we still have this black border that we…
