- [Chris] Hello, friends. This is Chris Orwig and welcome to another episode of Photo Tools Weekly. In this week's episode, I want to look at how we can create a strong black and white character portrait here in Lightroom Classic. We'll be working with this photograph that I captured of Ben Moon and his dog, Nori, and if you aren't familiar with Ben, do a quick Google search. The guy is amazing and check out his movie, Denali. It's really powerful, and I want to create a character portrait that kind of reflects some of those qualities, that he's this really great and interesting and fun, amazing person. The trouble is that my original composition is just kind of sloppy, and so we need to fix that. Fortunately, this image was captured with a high res camera. It's a Sony α7R IV 60 megapixel capture, so I know that I can crop in pretty far and I'm going to do that. I'm going to change my crop ratio to four by five…
