- Most photographers know the benefit of RAW images, but you may find yourself not having access to RAW if you misconfigured your camera. Or, maybe the camera you're using doesn't shoot RAW. Topaz offers a utility to attempt to create a DNG, or digital negative, from a high quality JPEG. It's not as good as starting with the RAW file, but if you don't have access to the RAW file, it does create a nice intermediate file that you can further enhance and edit. Let's select these images here, and we'll choose to open these with JPEG to RAW AI. We'll just navigate to the files here, and click open. Now, what it's going to do is give you a preview area similar to Gigapixel. It's going to make automatic settings by default, but we can override this. If we take a look at manual, you'll see the ability to further reduce JPEG artifacts if there's any compression artifacts or blockiness, as well as the ability to remove any camera…
