- [Instructor] Let's take a look at the modest feature, New Guides From Shape. So I can create a shape and then, from the View menu I can put guides around that shape. Well, why might we want to do that? I'll just undo that, and, I'll turn on my document grid, Command or Control + apostrophe and point out that I have ... My grid is now in green and I've had a grid line every 100 pixels, with four subdivisions. So, I'm going to use my Rectangle tool to create some buttons and, having created one, I'll switch back to my Move tool, hold down Optional + Alt and drag away from that and then do that a couple more times. Now, I'd like to center these on my art board, so I'll come to the last panel, and I will select those four rectangle layers, Command or Control + G will put them into a group. Command or Control + A will select my art board. And then, using my alignment options, I'm going to click on Horizontal Centers. I'll now turn off my grid, Command or Control + apostrophe, And, to…
