Learn how to combine the Flame filter with other filters to create a flaming meteorite effect
- [Instructor] Okay, let's see how we can set things on fire…using the flame filter.…I'm going to have some fun with this and create a meteorite,…flaming towards earth.…So let's begin by coming to the Layers panel…and firstly to create the meteorite…I'll create a blank new layer,…and then come to the 3D menu and choose New Mesh from Layer,…Mesh Preset, Sphere.…And yes I will go to the 3D workspace.…
There's my 3D sphere.…I need to do a couple of things to this.…Most importantly I need to wrap a texture around it,…but I also want to make sure…that it doesn't cast any shadows.…So coming to the 3D panel I'll click on Sphere…and then uncheck Cast Shadows,…and then click on Sphere Material,…and this is the option I'm after here, the Bump map.…From the folder to the right I'll choose Load Texture.…Let me just point out the texture that I will be using.…
It's this file, an image of rust.…I'll increase the bump to 100%.…Now that's as far as I want to go with the 3D…so I'll return to my Layers panel,…right click to the right of that layer,…
