Create a circular halftone effect

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how to create this rather ominous looking icon using the Circular Halftone pattern. Let's come to the beginning file, and actually what we have here on top of a color-filled layer is a font character. This is a font called Font Awesome, which you can download from fontawesome.com. If I double-click on that type layer and then come to the Type menu, and to Panels, then over to the Glyphs panel, this is one way of finding the different icons that you want. The other way is to use the Font Awesome cheat sheet, which is also available online. But, I have input this as a piece of type, and I'm now going to right-click on that layer and choose Convert to Shape. So, it's now a vector shape. Next, I'll create a blank layer above this, and I will fill this blank layer with white. Over on my foreground and background colors we see that white is currently my background color, so I will press Command or Control and the Backspace/Delete key to…
