- [Instructor] In the next few minutes,…we're gonna take a look at a quick and efficient way…to correct the perspective of an image.…Now, it's important to note that it's always better…to correct this type of distortion…as early as you can in your workflow.…So if you're working with raw files,…it's better to select them in Bridge…and choose Open in Camera Raw,…and use the transform tool to correct the perspective.…Or if you're using Lightroom,…you can use Lightroom's develop module…and use the Transform panel…before you open the file up into Photoshop.…
However, sometimes we need to edit multilayer documents,…where only a single layer within the document needs…to have the perspective corrected,…or maybe you don't have access to the original raw file.…So we're gonna correct the perspective in this image,…but I want to do it non-destructively.…So I want to convert the background into a Smart Object.…I can do that using the Layer menu,…or I can right-click on the background…and then Convert to Smart Object.…Once it's a Smart Object, I'll select Filter…
