- [Instructor] In this movie I am going to combine Photoshop and Illustrator to take this image and then convert it to this very simplified vector background which of course, because it is vector, will be completely scalable. So in order to do this, I'll be using the image trace tool in Illustrator, but as we'll see, we need to help this out because it's not going to give us the result that we want without some intervention from Photoshop. Now rather than create this in a new document, I think I'm just going to create another version of it in this Illustrator document and I will come and add a second art board. So I'm going to duplicate this art board and I want to make sure that this option here move or copy the artwork with art board is not selected so that when I hold down my option or alt key and drag away from the art board I get a copy of just the art board and not the artwork.
