Consolidating files to a single location

- Earlier we talked about having a standard folder for your project. This is really important because Photoshop is very literal. If you've got media files spread out over multiple hard drives, it's going to get confused. And if your computer has files that have the same file name, which is pretty common if you're shooting on one type of camera, eventually you're going to run out of unique file names and it will just loop back around on the counter, well, Photoshop can get confused. It's really important that you have unique file names and the files copied to a unique location. Now, earlier, in that batch command, you may have recalled that we had the ability to actually move or copy the files. Move is going to make it easy to rename these and put them in a new location. Copy will leave them in the existing location and copy them. In any case, though, it doesn't matter, just make sure that the assets end up in one folder if at all possible.
